The Bromic Tungsten Heat Deflector is a dual-layer deflector designed for the Tungsten Smart-Heat 500 Series Gas Heater, letting you install your heater closer to the ceiling in covered patios, pergolas and low-clearance spaces.
- Made for the Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat 500 Series Gas Heater
- Reduces ceiling clearance from 36 in to 14 in
- Dual-layer design for low-clearance installations
- Required wherever the 36 in ceiling clearance cannot be met
Without a deflector, Bromic gas heaters need 36 in (3 ft) of clearance between the top of the heater and the ceiling. The Tungsten Heat Deflector directs heat away from the ceiling surface so the heater can be installed with only 14 in of clearance, opening up installation options in covered outdoor areas, restaurants and terraces while protecting the ceiling above.
Features:
- Dual-layer construction shields the ceiling from radiant heat
- Cuts minimum ceiling clearance to 14 in
- Designed to match the Tungsten 500 Series gas heater body
- Works with wall mount and ceiling pole installations
- Install by a licensed gas fitter in line with local codes
